Marcus Pereira
Position: Board Chair

Marcus has been in sales and business development for the last 25 years representing large and small corporations and providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.  He has been one of the top sales representatives in consecutive years of previous companies.  He believes that integrity and going the extra mile for a customer pays off in the long run.

Mr. Pereira worked in the financial industry being a Branch Manager for TD Bank in 2010 for four years and ran their largest Bi-Lingual branch in Allentown, PA. He took on a new opportunity in September of 2014 working as a Business Banker for Citizens Bank covering the Northeast part of Pennsylvania. He provides traditional and commercial lending, Merchant Services & Cash Management for Small to Mid-size businesses.

He currently works for Univest Bank & Trust as a Vice President Financial Center Manager in Bethlehem, PA. Helping businesses grown with lending needs and other products and services now for the last 21/2 years. He’s a part of the Ambassador’s Council for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber and he’s a board member for the Hispanic Chamber. 

As the Chairman of a small non for-profit organization in Bethlehem, a transitional home for females ex-offenders and women in general with life controlling problems, it is our goal to build lives one person at a time.

Pastor Miriam Rodriguez-Fisher
Position: CEO and Executive Director

A survivor of domestic violence and a twenty year drug addiction.  She has four children, which she raised on her own, and today are very successful young men and women of God.

Miriam is a graduate of the Latin American Bible Institute in New York City, NY, received a Certificate of Completion for the “Hispanic Leadership Program” at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA, and also a graduate of Valley Forge Christian College completing a dual course of study in Pastoral Ministry and Pastoral Counseling. She has also been involved in the prison system for the past twenty years and in 1994, she founded “New Life Homes”, a program for women with life controlling problems.

Today, Miriam is the Founder and Executive Director of The Nehemiah Wall, a traditional home for women with life controlling problems. She has a passion for not only urban and local missions, but also for foreign missions.

Connie Deemer
​Position: Board Treasurer

Connie Deemer joined The Nehemiah Wall board in 2014. She is a financial professional and CPA with over 20 years of experience and she holds a not for profit accounting certification from the AICPA. Connie longest tenured positions were as manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and as manager of the Sarbanes Oxley program at PPL.

While she was serving women in a prison ministry with the Salvation Army and as Controller for the Allentown Rescue Mission Connie developed a heart for and awareness of the desperate needs of women who are struggling with addiction, homelessness and other life controlling issues as well as the needs of their children.

Connie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Moravian College and a Master’s Degree in Human Services-Executive Leadership from Liberty University.

Pastor David Fisher
Position: Development Director

David joined The Nehemiah Wall Board in 2016. Having worked at Oasis Safe Haven for Women and Children in New Jersey as a donation coordinator and facility manager, David is currently our development director. As a graduate of Teen Challenge he worked as admissions coordinator for Teen Challenge Newark, New Jersey, where he also studied Berean studies and Biblical studies. Also holds a BA in Theology and an MA in Christian Counseling

David also attended leadership training classes at Teen Challenge in Brockton, Massachusetts. He is currently a Campus Pastor in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania under Greater Shiloh Church in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Nikki Church
Position:​ Life Coach

​Coach Nikki Church is an ordained Elder, also known as, the “Good Success Coach". She is Founder and CEO of NC Coaching and Consulting, Nikki has been the catalyst for "Good Success" in many lives and careers through seminars, workshops, and one-on-one and group coaching and consulting. Known for her no-nonsense, energetic speaking style, she is recognized as an inspiring speaker, a dynamic teacher, and a powerful coach!

"Good Success" is a values-based approach that creates results that last, because with each goal attained, a life, business or ministry is permanently transformed. Coach Nikki has provided coaching to diverse clients ranging from homemakers, to clergy, leaders, small business owners, entertainers and company executives. She has provided consulting services to profit and non-profit organizations,
alike.

Nikki is committed to helping her clients live a purposeful life and is so passionate about the Good Success model that she has created the Good Success Awards and Project Good Success, a values-based empowerment organization for teens and women. Through her non-profit arm, coaching and workshops have impacted the lives of many teens and adults.

Her greatest ministry is her marriage and her family. She is wife of the greatest husband in the world, Elder Len Church for 25+ years, her honey bunny!
